Importance of visiting your grandparents

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have grandparents living.

Why is it so many young people, ages 18-30, who have living grandparents don’t visit them?

Yet, those young people will make the time for the funeral when their grandparent passes.

This is one of my biggest disappointments with the younger generation and I see it in my only family.

We can all learn from the generations before us, especially from our grandparents.

Even if you don’t have any interest in their stories, they are lonely.

They spent their entire adult life caring for their children, grandchildren and others, yet none of you care enough to spend an hour with them?

Priorities

Your cell phone is on 24/7

You can’t have a meal without checking 20 times

What could be so important that you can’t enjoy the moment you are in?

Your friend went to the mall.

Your sister went ….

Your brother went….

Your co-worker….

Your neighbor…..

Did you know there is a presidential election coming up?

Did you know gas prices are going to peak at an all-time high this year?

Did you know you haven’t visited your grandparents since last Christmas?

Did you know ….

Did you know….

Did you know….

But you know your sister’s boyfriend is at the gym.
