Vitamin Deficiency Tongue and Mouth Symptoms

This week I’ve shared the symptoms for vitamin deficiency. Today I’ll share the symptoms for our tongue and mouth:

Symptom                     Deficiency/Treatment/Cause

Enlarged tongue         Pantothenic acid

Sore tongue                 Vitamins B2, B6, B12, Niacin

Cracked lips                Vitamins B2, B6, Folic Acid

Marks on tongue        Niacin

Furrowed tongue       Vitamin B1, Pantothenic Acid

Receding gums, bleeding – gingivitis    Vitamin C, bioflavonoids, Calcium, Alkalizers

Bad breath                  Vitamin B6, Zinc, Magnesium
